About the Course

Public Speaking and Debate Club is a modern educational programme focused on developing skills essential for successful study, international communication and future professional life.

Debate isn't just a contest between two teams — it's intellectual training that teaches students to analyse information, consider different points of view, build logical arguments and defend their position effectively. Like intellectual fencing, debate helps develop flexible thinking, confidence and the ability to react quickly in challenging situations.

All lessons are conducted in English and focus on the practical use of the language. Students discuss topical issues of the modern world, learn new vocabulary, refine their grammar through communication, and gradually overcome the language barrier.

The course runs in two formats:

1. Speaking & Communication Club (level A2+ and above) — for students who want to improve their spoken English, expand their vocabulary and learn to hold a conversation confidently on a range of topics.

2. Debate Training & Competitions (level B2+ and above) — for students who want to master professional debating techniques, build public speaking skills and take part in competitions.

In the Debate Training format, students work on the principles of parliamentary debate: two teams present opposing positions, speak in front of judges and learn to defend their arguments effectively.
