About the Course

In class, students learn how artists create realistic images: working with form, proportion, volume, light and shadow. Participants gradually move from simple exercises to creating complex drawings, developing observation, precision and their own artistic style.

Academic drawing is the foundation of professional art education. It's through studying form, space and proportion that an artist learns to see the world correctly and render it on paper.

The course is designed for teenagers 11+ who want to improve their drawing skills, prepare for further study in the arts, or simply dive deeper into the creative process. The programme suits beginners as well as those who already have basic drawing skills.

Particular attention is paid not only to the result, but also to developing artistic thinking: the ability to observe, analyse and independently find expressive solutions. Over the course, each participant builds a collection of work and lays the foundation of their own art portfolio.
